Welcome to Capitol Classroom 2025!

TVW’s hands-on civics education program, Capitol Classroom, teaches students how to participate directly in the state legislative process by connecting them with professionals in Olympia, via bi-weekly Zoom meetings. In Capitol Classroom, students and teachers work with lobbyist volunteers to choose legislation to support, oppose, or amend. Then, through Teach With TVW’s hosted meetings, students communicate with their lobbyists as a class during the session and track their chosen legislation. The goal of Capitol Classroom is to provide a rich and immersive learning experience by investing students in the state legislative process.

Below are password protected links to our participating classes for the 2025 Legislative Session. These class session pages are provided to allow students the opportunity catch up on any meetings they may have missed or wish to revisit. The 2025 session will start up in January with new and returning schools, some schools start their Capitol Classroom sessions prior to the legislative session.
