Women’s Healthcare Equity Gap (2026)

Senate Page Madelyn Karol asks members of the House Health Care committee, Democratic Representative Dan Bronoske and Republican Representative Andrew Engell, about access to information about women's health care. Question: In my research I found that in women's healthcare, there can be limited access to knowledge about reproductive health/services, maternal care, menopause and screening for cancers. Studies indicate a significant knowledge gap, with evidence-based data on women's health being scarce or underrepresented, especially in the case with women of diverse or minority backgrounds. How can the legislature address this gap in medical healthcare information accessibility?
