Senate Page Mustafa Shakir asks members of the House Health Care committee, Democratic Representative Dan Bronoske and Republican Representative Andrew Engell about the impact of Medicaid cuts on rural communities.

Question: In my research, I learned that Washingtonian ranks in the bottom 10 states for total health care funding from the federal government at about $181 million. Given that over the next decade, rural communities are expected to lose over $4 billion in Medicaid, what changes do you think Washington could consider to better support these communities going forward?
